BOB MCLEOD AND THE STORM MAKERS

Bob Mcleod and the Storm Makers—An exciting trilogy which chronicles the adventures of a budding young Phd candidate in Meteorology who stumbles into the discovery of a lifetime.

In the first volume, Thor's Apprentice, Bob Mcleod inadvertently discovers a mature weather modification technology which had been kept secret by his mentor and friend Dr Auster, who had been killed in an automobile accident. Professor Auster had dubbed the weather modification device “Thor's Hammer” in reference to the god of thunder. As Bob learns how to operate the device, he confronts the dilemma of using Thor’s Hammer for his personal gain or following Dr Auster’s desire that it be used for the good of all mankind. The situation quickly escalates when his efforts to use this new technology draw the unwanted attention of the Air Force, IRS and FBI. In Thor's Apprentice, we follow Bob, from his initial discovery of on-demand weather modification technology in his rural college town, to the Oval Office and finally to the United Nations. Along the way he finds new friends, love and a new understanding of himself.

The second volume, Thor's Journeymen, is the continuation of this story, where we see what successes and challenges Professor Mcleod encounters as he continues his work beyond simply daylighting this new technology to the world. Bob wants to deliver the benefits while avoiding the potential abuse. Thor’s Journeymen shows us how on-demand weather modification is the same as any other tool. In the right hands and used for the right purpose, it can provide amazing benefits. Alternatively, in the wrong hands or used for the wrong purpose, it can produce devastating results—sometimes intended, and sometimes unintended.

Bob and an evolving team of new colleagues find that controlling the weather data can be almost as powerful as controlling the weather itself. Employing a deceptive information operation at a pivotal point in time enabled them to turn the tables on those working to undermine their well-intended efforts. Importantly, they also learn the dangers of intended public information denial via clandestine operations. The real impacts of denying the potential threats of a technology we do not possess can be catastrophic. In Thor’s Journeymen that technology is on-demand weather modification, but the hidden truth behind this capability is discovered in time for them to do something about it.

In the third volume, Thor’s Craftsmen, we learn what Professor Mcleod and many others were able to accomplish and find out how Bob Mcleod finally resolves the dilemma he inherited with the Thor’s Hammer he discovered. It could be the most powerful weapon ever deployed, or the most beneficial technology ever fielded. It could be neither or, perhaps, it is both. In Thor’s Craftsmen, Bob navigates a series of events on the world stage that change the world. The choices he makes determine the final outcome, an outcome that surprises even Bob.
